AMS Hiking Club Explores Old Croton Aqueduct Trail

The AMS Hiking Club recently completed a hike along the Old Croton Aqueduct trail, traversing from Draper Park in Hastings to Untermyer Park in Yonkers. 

During the hike, club members discovered Quarry Park, a newly opened park in Hastings. The group also had the opportunity to walk underneath the aqueduct at one of its many culverts and view a ventilator designed to facilitate airflow in the structure. 

The hike took place on a clear late fall day, providing participants with views of the Hudson River and the Palisades.
