A Day Without Technology For AMS Students

A Day Without Technology For AMS Students

On Wednesday, November 26, Grades 5-8 participated in a "No Tech Day" during the half-day schedule. Teachers and students took part in activities that would encourage connection and fun. As one walked the halls of AMS, they would find our community playing classic board games, completing puzzles, doing word searches, competing in Thanksgiving trivia, writing notes of gratitude, performing yoga, enjoying a sound bath and rolling cartridges to supply the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War to name a few. Before we knew it, our day was complete and it was time for a well-deserved respite to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends.

A special thank you to Ms. Olivieri who lead yoga and sound bath meditation during the tech free day.
